Biography

Fatemeh Goudarzi has spent more than a decade delivering complex real estate and construction projects across four continents — from an $800M+ waterfront development in Istanbul to a fire-zone hillside residence in Topanga, California. She founded GAVARI Studio to bring that same rigor — owner's-side oversight, cost discipline, and an eye for what actually gets buildings finished on time and on budget — to clients who need a strategist and an executor in one person. BACKGROUND Over 11 years, Fatemeh has managed project delivery across the United States, Germany, the UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, and Bosnia & Herzegovina, with a combined portfolio exceeding $1 billion across 12+ projects. Her work spans the full lifecycle of a project — entitlement and permitting, budget and schedule control, contractor and consultant management, and owner representation through closeout — on both ground-up developments and high-stakes renovations. She currently serves as Senior Project Manager, Owner's Representative, and Real Estate Advisor at Douglas Elliman, focused on the Westside and Beverly Hills markets, and holds a California DRE license. SELECTED WORK · WF09 — Delivered $1.4M in cost savings and a 14% increase in leasable area on a large-scale commercial project. · Mall of Berlin — Managed large-scale mixed-use retail leasing for one of Berlin's major commercial developments. · Casala Villa, Topanga CA — Owner's Rep on a $4M private hillside residence, navigating fire-zone permitting and LA County approvals. · YEDI MAVI, Istanbul — Project leadership on an $800M+ waterfront mixed-use development. · APP11, New York City — Delivery of a $62M high-rise project. APPROACH Fatemeh's background runs in the family — construction and real estate development on both sides — and it shows in how she works: she sits where the owner's interests and the contractor's reality meet, translating between budget, design intent, and what's buildable. Clients hire her when a project is too important to manage by committee and too complex to leave to a single discipline. LANGUAGES Fluent in German, Farsi (Persian), and English. Working knowledge of Arabic and Turkish. Currently learning Spanish.
